Role Purpose
• Design and develop native mobile Apps and libraries for Android using Java & Kotlin.
• Integrate mobile SDKs & Restful API's.
• Issue research and root cause analysis with resolution
• Develop Mobile Apps & Library(.aar) with enterprise-level quality
• Work / Collaborate with various cross functional teams of Product Managers / Tech Leads/ UX to understand the requirements

Key Responsibilities
• Candidate should have 8+ experience in native Android for mobile application development/support using Java and Kotlin.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Good understanding of designing architecture such as MVC, MVP, MVVM.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Proficient in using android studio.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SDK integration, Firebase, and Analytics platforms.
• Excellent analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Should have experience with version controlling tools (TFS/GIT).
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Aware of Mobile application development trends and app publish process.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Hands-on experience and in-depth working knowledge of Android SDK
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Testing of apps on mobile device and cloud.
• Excellent in communication soft skills.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification

• Minimum of a BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/ME/MSC is preferred with minimum 6 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Experience
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes (form factors)
• Experience with the Android SDK, Java & Kotlin
• Experience with JSON concepts and REST APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

· Working knowledge of CI/CD, HTML5 & CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript.

· Knowledge of App publishing

· Excellent in communication soft skills.

· Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.

· Good to have Azure DevOps knowledge.

· Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD).
