Senior Android Mobile Developer

Primarily Remote (occasional meetings in London)
Join a tech for good start-up who are transforming the navigation sector to make it more accessible to certain disabilities such as visual impairment. The company has a innovative, high-technology approach to navigations and people needs and their product has successfully been launched in Europe and America.
The successful Android Mobile Application Engineer will become a pivotal part of tech team and be responsible for end-to-end development of android applications and services on Android platform as they look to expand into the Asia markets.
As the company's client base has grown, they need someone to bring the Android app up to speed with the iOS app as it currently lags behind. This role will suit someone looking to take ownership and develop something impactful.
The role is primarily remote but would require occasional travel to the London based site.
The ideal skillset of the Android Developer
• Strong commercial experience working on mobile based apps alongside technologies such as Kotlin, and Java
• Experience developing SDK libraries
• Exposure with IDEs such as Eclipse and Android Studio
• Experience working with Material Design/Jetpack for UI development
