OVERVIEW:
Gymshark Engineering is rapidly expanding, you could be our next Developer! Do you consider yourself an exceptional Android Developer? We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team and work on innovative cross functional applications that serve our global customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Creating quality, scalable digital solutions for Gymshark and its customers, with a focus on the mobile products
• Utilising your knowledge and experience with Kotlin to develop and create features and functionality in Android app
• Working collaboratively with Engineering colleagues to meet sprint goals, and ensure sprints are successful
• Collaborating with the Delivery Team to ensure that features and products are delivered on time and as planned
• Setting engineering standards and spear heading team-level Definitions of Done
• Presenting on the work delivered within an iteration to key stakeholders, clearly demoing the value in language that non-technical stakeholders can understand
• Championing the continuous improvement of the team

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
• Active delivery of Mobile solutions
• Competent in Android coding languages; Kotlin
• Ability to build database through enhancement, installation and optimisation
• Proven ability to ensure solutions are implemented that deliver genuine value to their users
• Coordinating and instrumenting the overarching solution design, in accordance with architectural vision and development strategy during the discovery phase of new projects
• Performing a suitable degree of testing against a given solution before delivery
• Defining and tracking Engineering/Quality KPIs in collaboration with the Lead engineer to ensure delivery is consistent and class-leading
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
