We are looking for an experienced Senior Angular Developer to join our team in Chennai immediately. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript, with a background in building user interfaces and applications. Experience in the OTT domain is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs and work with JSON APIs to retrieve and display data effectively.
• Work within a monorepo environment, ensuring isolated codebase management.
• Utilize styled components to implement design systems and UI components.
• Manage application state using global state management techniques.
• Use version control tools like Git and GitHub, and follow Git Flow for efficient code management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in web applications.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior developers.
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in Angular and TypeScript development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript features.
• Familiarity with media streaming, OTT platforms, or video-streaming technologies is an added advantage.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and JSON handling.
• Hands-on experience with styled components and modular CSS.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and workflows such as Git Flow.
• Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in web applications.
• Experience in working within a mono-repo structure is a plus.
• Good understanding of global state management solutions (e.g., NgRx, Redux).
• Familiarity with deployment processes to Play Store and App Store (preferred for senior roles).
• Basic understanding of building and running apps using Xcode and Android Studio is advantageous.
