We are building an AI-driven personalised wealth advisory app for the burgeoning middle class and upper middle class of India. The Role: UI Dev Lead - Mobile App
As the UI Development Lead, you will be responsible for owning the development of the user interface for our mobile app. Your role will involve translating design mockups and wireframes into interactive, responsive, and high-performing UI components. You will lead the UI development efforts, ensuring that the mobile app's user interface is seamless, intuitive, and aligned with our overall product vision. You will also mentor and collaborate with a team of developers and work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end development of UI components for the mobile app (iOS/Android).
• Lead the team in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Implement best practices for UI development, ensuring code scalability, modularity, and reusability.
• Maintain and optimize the performance of the UI components to ensure responsiveness and smooth user experience.
• Ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across platforms by adhering to mobile platform guidelines (iOS/Android).
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the visual design translates effectively into the app.
• Work with product managers and other stakeholders to define user requirements and technical specifications.
• Partner with back-end engineers to integrate front-end and back-end functionality seamlessly.
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of front-end developers in delivering high-quality UI.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in UI development with a focus on mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or senior development role, owning UI/UX development for mobile apps.
• Strong proficiency in mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter).
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX design principles and translating design into fully functional, responsive mobile interfaces.
• Proficiency in integrating APIs and handling state management for mobile apps.
• Experience with Git, build tools (Webpack, Xcode, Gradle) and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and focused on delivery.
• Experience in fintech or wealth tech would be a plus
Compensation: Equity initially. Salary after the seed round is completed.
