Looking for a Backend Developer with 8+yrs experience
Eligibility Requirement
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in application development with in-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL support for JSON
• In-depth knowledge and experience with PSQL is a must
• Good ETL concepts
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
• In-depth knowledge of PHP and application development using Laravel Framework is a must.
• In-depth Understanding of Linux servers (RHEL), Configuration of Administration.
• Exposure to Unix/Linux command line and writing maintaining shell scripts.
• Strong written and verbal communication along with proven fluency of English
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals, including:
• Advanced SQL (PSQL) scripting
• Query optimization, performance tuning
• Database indexing and partitioning
• PostgreSQL support for JSON / JSONB data types
Proven experience in data management, including:
• Access permissions and user roles
• Backup and recovery strategies
• Security policies and auditing
• Monitoring and health checks
Strong proficiency in PHP, with at least 5 years using the Laravel Framework for backend application development.
Solid experience in Linux server administration (preferably RHEL):
• Package management, user and group configuration
• System tuning and log management
• Web server setup and deployment (Apache/Nginx)
Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting:
• Writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting bash/shell scripts
• Automating system tasks and backups
