Senior Architect – Design & Delivery

THE STUDIO & ROLE
This well-established, National design-focused practice is known for its thoughtful, human-centric approach to architecture. With a strong pipeline of large-scale commercial, health, and institutional projects, they are seeking a Senior Architect who can confidently lead the design process while ensuring the highest standards in project execution.
This role is ideal for an all-rounder—someone who thrives in concept design, is adept at resolving complex project challenges, and understands the importance of seamless project delivery. You’ll be leading a team, collaborating closely with clients and consultants, and ensuring projects achieve both design and technical excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Lead the design and delivery of large-scale projects from concept through to construction
• Manage and mentor teams of architects and documenters to ensure project success
• Develop and present design concepts, ensuring alignment with client and stakeholder expectations
• Oversee coordination with consultants and authorities, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and Australian Standards
• Maintain a hands-on approach—guiding design development, resolving complex detailing, and contributing to documentation in Revit when required
• Engage directly with clients, balancing their commercial objectives with strong architectural outcomes
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Tertiary qualifications in Architecture [ESSENTIAL]
• 8+ years post-graduate experience in an Australian architectural practice [ESSENTIAL]
• Proven experience leading large-scale commercial, mixed-use, or institutional projects from early design through to delivery [ESSENTIAL]
• Strong design sensibility with the technical acumen to ensure buildability [ESSENTIAL]
• Excellent client management and consultant coordination skills [ESSENTIAL]
• Proficiency in Revit [ESSENTIAL]
• NSW Registration [DESIRED]
• Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship [ESSENTIAL]
