This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work 2 days in one of our East Coast offices (Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane) and 3 days a week from home or on a client site when required or in agreement with your manager.

About the role
Leadership: The Manager for this role is Paul Listo. Paul is based in Brisbane and leads our Cloud Platform practice. A dedicated Microsoft technologist throughout his career, Paul enjoys keeping up to date with the latest technology trends, while also leading and mentoring his team and sharing his expertise with his clients.
We are looking for a Senior Architect who lives and breathes GitHub. Our Senior Architects are sales focused technology specialists, who are viewed as trusted advisors by clients. The Senior Architect will act as the technical lead on projects, overseeing a number of Technical/Delivery Consultants on larger engagements. You will also be responsible for assisting with the development of Intellectual Property (IP) in the GitHub technology area.
Along the way, you will get to:
Act as leader for the differentiation of Insight’s technical capability
Develop solution knowledge and share this IP both locally and Asia Pacific wide
Focus on assisting the practice team to meet the Services Practice’s financial target
Provide input to the definition and architecture of client centric solutions.
Assist with client proposals and engage early on in the client planning and solution definition phase
Working together with Account Managers (AM) and Project Managers (PM), define the roadmap and milestones for each project, and the required involvement of delivery teams
Responsible for the delivery of solutions against pre-agreed specifications
Effective interaction with AM/PM to ensure technical delivery to client expectations and satisfaction
You will own the proposed solution on all engagements, oversee the Delivery Consultant team members and remain engaged with the client
Lead, guide and mentor Delivery Consultant team members
Take responsibility as the technical representative of Insight within strategic accounts to develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities for Insight.
Develop profile as a technical leader in the GitHub technology area

We are looking for a Senior Architect with hands-on experience in the following areas:
Consulting capabilities:
Substantial experience in technical roles within a Services environment.
Ability to map client’s business needs to Insight’s technology solution offerings.
Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
Ability to engage and lead a team of Delivery Consultant team members
Excellent written (documentation) and verbal communication skills.
Proven analysis skills with the ability to work with a client to understand requirements, define and present appropriate solution, and oversee delivery of a solution to the client.
Comfortable with presenting and communicating technical solutions.
A team player willing to develop and share IP within the organization.
Technical Capabilities:
Demonstrated hands-on experience in designing, building, and implementing Microsoft solutions based around Azure IaaS and PaaS
Azure DevOps, build/deploy CI/CD tools/pipeline, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (Terraform, Bicep)
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
In-depth understanding of GitHub ecosystem
Applying cloud adoption framework and well architected frameworks in enterprise environments
Experience in Applications Migration and Modernisation programs of work.
Understanding of Azure Governance, Security, Identity, Monitoring, Automation (Sentinel, Defender, Azure Security Centre)
Experience with Platform deployments including Containers and Kubernetes
Understanding of modern Azure platform architectures for data warehousing, applications, and integrations along with their delivery practices and tools
Knowledge and understanding of foundational active directory and networking principles.
At least one of the following certifications or applicable project experience of suitable complexity:
GitHub Foundations Certification
GitHub Actions Certification
GitHub Advanced Security Certification
GitHub Administration Certification
