Senior Associate, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Engineering Services
Business Function
The Cloud Engineer will work on various aspects of product development to help with commercialization of the product. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Architect on solutioning product stories and implementing solutions. You will work closely with the DBS Cloud Engineering Team who will remain focused on developing the product for DBS purposes. We are looking for a person who is familiar with developing software and also have a good understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals. Ideally the candidate is able to show that he has been involved in developing existing products and can demonstrate enhancing existing software solutions preferably related to infrastructure projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Able to translate product stories into solutions through following the development lifecycle of a product.
Develop a deep understanding of the existing code base for Evolve as role requires to develop the product, propose solutions and implement them.
Work closely with cloud platform architects to deliver creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements.
Work closely with DBS Cloud Engineering team and interfaces solutions as per core product.
Building solutions on the Evolve platform that improve the customer journey for external clients.
Building interfaces for customers to have more visibility on background within the Evolve core engines.
Requirements
Has a demonstrable experience as a developer who has developed products for internal or external use. Must know development software lifecycle best practices and worked on python and Java.
Able to automate/script daily tasks through Python(last 3 years of demonstrable hands-on experience).
Experience with web-based applications or web-services.
Experience in designing and implementing standards, specifications and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree on any STEM academic discipline.
Minimum of 5-12 years of total experience in Public Cloud (on premise administration or any network experience will not be evaluated). Clear passion for Cloud technologies.
Should have experience in working with AWS Services like Cloudformation, IAM and other security related services.
Good knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards
Deep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (more than 3 years in demonstrable projects).
Able to demonstrate an advanced understanding of Public Cloud infrastructure (AWS). Preferably AWS Solution Architect Professional certified.
Experience in designing and implementing standards, specifications and procedures.
Demonstrate ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Experience in working with Agile delivery teams / projects / programs.
