We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role is located in Manchester.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developers
Design, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable and reusable
Design, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java to ensure an exceptional user experience
Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components
Utilize expertise in NoSQL databases (CosmosDB) to design, develop and optimize data models for seamless storage within a distributed system
Create RESTful APIs (gRPC) to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systems
Conduct regular code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration and maintain high code quality and reliability
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Strong expertise in Core/Advanced Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Proficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data or similar frameworks
Knowledge of JIRA, JUnit and Apache Kafka preferred
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB and MongoDB
In-depth knowledge of REST API principles and HTTP protocol
Familiarity with containerization tools and cloud platforms
Solid grasp of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile principles
