Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement
• Post-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA etc.) or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience of 4-5 years supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm with 1-2 years of front end experience in pitching and execution on live deals
• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideas
• Ability to handle pressure working in fast paced environment with quick problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge and relevant work experience on industry and macro-economic overviews/ studies, competitive landscape, relative valuation, detailed company analysis, financial modeling (DCF, LBO etc.), Pitch books, IMs, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson One, etc.
• MS Office skills – should be excellent in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
Responsibilities
• Handle end to end delivery operations of all financial and business research projects for an investment banking division of a Global Wholesale Bank
• Interacting with key bankers and business managers in multiple global locations to understand their feedback on the service, providing recurring and ad hoc MIS, and also identifying growth opportunities
• Operationally support onshore team of the bank primarily on Commercial Real Estate industry apart from other generic industries including IT/ BPO, Telecom, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Retail and Industrials
• Managing delivery of projects including detailed industry studies or market analysis, pitch books, information memorandums, strategic account plans, company profiles, assets profiles, ad-hoc requests, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in depth secondary research and studying & analyzing different business & financial models in a particular industry
• Expertise in financial analysis including operational/ financial benchmarking, trading comparables, precedent transactions and cash flow models (DCF, Merger Models etc.)
• Good working experience on real estate industry from investment banking perspective
• Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure "high client satisfaction
