KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Security Governance Risk to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data for compliance analysis; validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
Interpret data, analyzing results and provide ongoing reporting for compliance; present results in a clear and interesting way to help the firm analyze trends and noncompliance
Perform Security and IT control testing; continuously monitor for noncompliance of IT and security controls using automated systems.
Apply a fundamental understanding of risk to business functions to perform risk reduction and mitigation activities
Perform control gap assessments on IT processes and report on results
Advise and assist teams regarding compensating control alternatives where security requirements cannot be met; stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices related to security and risk
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of risk or security experience within a large professional services environment preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Understanding of security principles, IT and security controls and related technologies and products
Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
Strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; experience leading meetings and operating effectively in a matrixed environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
