Job Description
In this role the person would be responsible for design engineering of solar power plant.
How you will contribute:
• Responsible for designing; planning of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plants
• across verticals of Distributed Generation, C&I and Utility.
• Responsible for conducting site studies, shadow analysis, Power evacuation feasibility; factors affecting systems and also for analyzing available data such as location, weather conditions, irradiation, shading etc.
• Responsible for Engineering deliverable which include development of engineering drawings- AC/DC SLD, Inverter Control room and MCR Equipment Layout, Overall Array layouts, AC/DC Cable Schedule and Layout, DC Equipment, SCADA, Earthing etc.
• Analyzing the Generation/yield PVSYST Simulation, using Solar GIS, Metronome, 3 tier, etc. data based during pre-bid as well as post bid.
• Design and Estimation of the Project Engineering with BOQ for (Fix tilt, seasonal tilt, single axis trackers.)
• Interaction with Lender’s and Investor’s technical team
Ideal skills for this role include:
• B.Tech. in Electrical
• 4-7 years of experience, candidates working in renewable industry would be preferred.
• Excellent command over all aspects of Design Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical capabilities are essential
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience in design software like PVSYST, Autocad, sketchUp
