Senior Auditor Banking

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading bank in London as a Senior Internal Auditor within their Front Office Markets team. This role offers excellent exposure to front office trading, capital and liquidity audits, and is particularly well suited to someone looking to develop their career in a structured and supportive environment.

You’ll be part of a growing internal audit function where you’ll gain broad exposure across a range of core financial risk areas including Capital, Liquidity, Markets, Structural Risk, and Finance. This is a hands-on role offering end-to-end audit involvement from planning and risk identification through to fieldwork, stakeholder engagement and reporting.

While some knowledge of financial products is expected, you don’t need to be a subject matter expert. Regular coaching and technical development are a core part of the team’s approach, and the successful candidate will be supported to build deeper expertise over time. This is an ideal move for someone with early experience in internal audit, external audit or financial control, who’s now looking to gain more commercial insight within a banking environment.

Key requirements:

• Some experience in internal or external audit, internal controls, or finance/risk within a financial services context

• Understanding of core audit principles and the regulatory environment

• Comfortable working with data in Excel

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
