Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automation systems for yarn twister machines, including control panels, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
• Select and integrate automation components such as drives, motors, actuators, and communication modules.
• Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to control machine operations.
• Design and program HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens for operator interaction and machine monitoring.
• Implement advanced control algorithms to optimize machine performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Conduct testing and validation of automation systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation failures.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate automation systems with other machine components.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the assembly, installation, and commissioning of yarn twister machines.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in automation systems and processes.
• Assist in the training of technicians and operators on automation systems and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure all automation designs and systems comply with relevant standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in automation design software/Strong knowledge of PLC programming
• Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in automation engineering,
