Responsibilities
• Android and iOS app automation in Appium and/or Katalon Studio.
• Web automation in Selenium.
• API testing in Postman and/or REST Assured.
• Performance testing in JMeter.
• Test framework in TestNG and/or Junit.
• Programming language Java.
• Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Integrating automation with CI/CD (Jenkins or Azure).
• Version control with Azure, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
• Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user application software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop testing strategies.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
• Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for the assigned portion of the application.
• Identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
• Participates as a member of project team of other software applications engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystem.
• Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Well-versed with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies.
• Using software applications, design tools, and languages.
• Designing software applications running on multiple platform types.
• Software applications testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
• Strong experience in Test automation framework design and test case automation using Selenium, Apium, JMeter, Java, TestNG, REST. Optional - Python, shell scripting.
• Exposure to cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes technologies will be an advantage.
• Exposure to Performance and Scalability testing, Software Security testing will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
