Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join their dynamic, fully remote team. Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth remote diagnostics on vehicle systems including engine, transmission, braking, electrical, and HVAC components. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, software, and online resources to identify root causes of vehicle malfunctions. Develop and document comprehensive repair procedures and technical solutions. Provide remote technical assistance and training to junior technicians and service advisors. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on product performance and potential improvements. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of automotive technologies, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer service bulletins. Ensure all diagnostic and repair recommendations adhere to industry standards and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding diagnostic findings and proposed solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of remote diagnostic processes and tools. Manage a workload of complex diagnostic cases, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics. Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic software, scan tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. Excellent understanding of internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, electric vehicles, and related control modules. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are highly preferred. Experience with telematics and remote vehicle data analysis is a plus. A dedicated, quiet home office space with reliable high-speed internet is required for this fully remote position. This role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, IN , but operates entirely remotely, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere within India.
