Senior Azure SQL Database Developer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure SQL Database Developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our Azure database infrastructure and SQL-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize database performance
• Implement and manage linked servers
• Ensure smooth data replication across various systems
Requirements:
• 10-15 years of experience in SQL development
• Deep expertise in SQL development with hands-on experience in Azure SQL Database, Azure Parallel Data Warehouse, Linked Servers, and Database Replication
• Proven experience as an SQL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role
Technical Skills:
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Data Services
• Azure Parallel Data Warehouse (PDW)
• SQL Server Replication
• Linked Servers in SQL Server environments
• Query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting
• T-SQL for developing stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools
• Azure Active Directory integration with databases and cloud security best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL Database
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of Azure SQL tasks
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory for data orchestration
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases or hybrid data storage solutions
• Agile/Scrum experience in a database development environment
