Requirement: A full-time, B2B content writer for developing research-driven blog posts, whitepapers, web copy, short scripts, and other content marketing collaterals. Subject area familiarity should include general IT and digital solutions, artificial intelligence, networking, cloud computing, cyber security, and Industry 4.0. The writer should also possess familiarity with how these subject areas relate to key businesses such as finance (fintech), manufacturing, life sciences, telecom etc.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience writing B2B content across various technical topics/domains.
Criteria:
• 3+ years of work experience as a writer and/or editor
• Intermediate knowledge of B2B technology and applicable industry
• Experience developing content for a global B2B audience
• Familiarity with secondary research of technical information
• Modern writing style that is adaptable to client needs and conveys clarity of thought
• Superlative writing and editing skills with the English language
• Competence working with editorial tools in Microsoft Word
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Deadline and outcome-oriented mind-set with the ability to work on multiple collaterals
Responsibilities:
• Engage with IT/business leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders, to discuss briefs and topics, as well as interview them as a primary source for information relevant to on-going projects
• Undertake in-depth secondary research on various B2B topics to write original content
• High standard of self-quality control i.e., proofreading, fact-checking, and consistency of tone
• Copyediting content for greater readability and conformance with best practice
• Developing engaging titles and body content that engages the target audience
