Our client is a leading global Financial Market data provider who runs several change programs to deliver high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high-frequency, and low-latency data management chain.

Responsibilities
• Write effective and scalable code.
• Participate in API development.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Planning and performing testing to ensure fitting to standards (e.g. scalability, performance etc.), design functional as well as non-functional requirements
• Improve functionality of existing programs.
• Participate in reviewing design and code for other team members
• Collaborate with other teams in consultations and integrations when required
• Present solution readiness gradually according to the timelines

Skills

Must have
• 4+ experience as python developer.
• Work on experience in API development.
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Flask, Django).
• Knowledge of popular Python frameworks.
• Experience working with MySQL or any other database like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL and Access.
• Experience with python multi-threading and multi-processing.

Nice to have
• Knowledge in at least one popular ML Python Library (like scikit-learn and pandas).
• Knowledge of Front-end Technologies and working experience with Streamlit
