Role Description
This is a full-time senior backend architect role, located in Ahmedabad, India with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Backend Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing complex distributed systems and microservices architectures. The role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring and guiding junior developers, and providing thought leadership to improve system quality.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems
• Strong proficiency in NodeJS and Python
• Having Golang experience is a plus
• Expertise in distributed systems microservices, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proven experience in creating libraries and API Clients
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and lead design sessions
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and on budget
