Senior Backend Engineer: Go-Driven Fintech Revolutionizing Global Payments
Location: Bangalore Hybrid (Global, with preference for candidates in Africa, Asia, or Europe)

• 5+ years of experience building scalable backend services in Go.

Your Mission
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll enhance digital payment systems and infrastructure for Africa and Asia by contributing to the development and design of our core components and tools for our Rafiki web service API. You’ll help open our payment rails to corporate customers via API, enabling seamless transactions directly from their systems.
Your Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the frontend team to build business-facing features.
• Integrate with payment partners for fast, reliable payments across multiple countries.
• Implement core business logic, including KYC, AML, fraud monitoring, and identification verification to ensure customer safety.
• Write modular, configurable code to launch new markets quickly.
• Leverage data for decision-making and customer insights.
• Automate processes and partner failover to reduce support load.
• Contribute to our customer-facing REST API core functionalities.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript (web), Dart/Flutter (iOS/Android apps)
