Senior Backend Engineer (C#/.NET) – iGaming
Salary: $1,000 – $1,800 USD/month (Depending on Experience)
Engagement: 100% Remote | B2B Contract
Established and fast-growing iGaming company offering both casino and sportsbook services. We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer based in India to join the fully remote team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Design and develop robust backend services using C# and the .NET framework .
Apply domain-driven design (DDD) to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
Work with SQL Server , MongoDB , and Redis to manage data effectively.
Implement real-time communication using SignalR .
Build RESTful APIs aligned with industry best practices.
Develop background services and asynchronous processing using worker services and RabbitMQ .
Leverage Python scripting for automation, data integration, and tooling support.
Support testing strategies with unit testing frameworks like NUnit or xUnit.
Participate in load testing and performance tuning to maintain scalability.
Ensure all services meet strict non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with frontend teams, including potential Blazor integration.
Take part in code reviews , technical discussions, and cross-functional collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience as a backend developer using C# and .NET.
Strong background in object-oriented programming and microservices .
Proven expertise in domain-driven design .
Solid experience with SQL Server , MongoDB , and Redis .
Familiarity with SignalR , RabbitMQ , and REST API design.
Practical knowledge of Python scripting for automation or integration.
Experience with unit testing and load testing tools.
Basic understanding of Blazor and ability to collaborate across the stack.
Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
Self-driven and eager to stay updated with evolving backend technologies.
