Job Role - Senior Backend Software Engineer (.Net / C# / SQL / Azure)
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with advanced expertise in C# and .NET Core to join our engineering team. This role focuses on backend development, contributing to a large existing codebase while developing REST APIs, microservices, and leveraging cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should excel in designing, integrating, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills and Experience:
• C# (v8.0 or higher): Advanced proficiency in writing efficient, maintainable code.
• .NET Core (v3.0 or higher): Expertise in developing robust backend solutions.
• REST API and Microservices: Comprehensive experience using ASP.NET Core, including development, consumption, and testing via tools like Postman or Fiddler.
• Data Formats: Strong familiarity with JSON and XML.
• Cloud Technologies: Development experience in Microsoft Azure, including Azure blob storage, Service Bus, App Insights, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Event-Driven Programming: Proficiency in tools like Service Bus or SQS.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker for deployment.
• Software Design: Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP), design, and architectural patterns.
• Source Control: Advanced experience with Git and familiarity with JIRA for work item management.
• Testing: Hands-on experience writing automated unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of solid experience developing complex, cloud-enabled software.
Responsibilities:
Development and Integration:

• Participate in Agile/Kanban development processes and maintain work backlogs through JIRA.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, including Product, Project, DevOps, and QA, to align on project goals.
• Collaborate across geographical locations and time zones to deliver cohesive solutions.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
• Analyze and resolve issues within existing functionality.
• Continuously enhance and refactor code for scalability and performance.
Business Alignment:
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications to ensure alignment with project goals
