The Senior Barber is responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services while also providing mentorship to junior barbers, maintaining client satisfaction, and supporting daily shop operations. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a strong passion for the barbering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of barbering services including fades, tapers, scissor cuts, beard trims, and shaves.
Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
Ensure all services are delivered to the highest professional standards.
Mentor and support junior barbers and apprentices.
Help maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shop according to hygiene standards.
Manage appointments and client flow to minimize wait times.
Monitor stock levels and notify management of supply needs.
Handle client feedback and resolve any service issues professionally.
Promote services, retail products, and shop culture to build clientele.
Contribute to social media content and shop promotion.
Uphold health and safety protocols at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of professional barbering experience.
Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent qualification.
Strong technical skills in all modern and classic haircutting techniques.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude.
