Job Description
Minimum Experience : 3 years hands on experience in developing Tableau dashboards
• Interact with internal customers on a regular basis, gather requirements specific to business use cases
• Create and maintain development queue and communicate with all stakeholders regarding progress
• Monitor server logs and report bugs, consumption reports, data extract reports
• Ensure seamless connectivity of all data sources to the server instance
• Prepare estimates of effort required for development of user requirements
• Manage user level and department level access to dashboards
• Translate user requirements to logical statements and develop variables, calculated fields, parameters, sets, groups
• Suggest visualizations to end users on extracting more information out of data
• Develop dashboards for KPIs defined by end users / suggested as required
• Prepare documentation for end users on the usage of dashboards
Technical Requirements :
• Fluent with Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, Python, SQL and Tableau Desktop
• Robust knowledge of Tableau functions
• Working knowledge of MS SQL, for validating query results on database
• Sound knowledge of implementing parametric control on dashboards
• Fluent with all features of Tableau software (e.g. Data source filters, table filters, measures and dimensions, continuous and discrete variables, sets, groups, aggregate and non-aggregate functions, design of dashboard layout etc.
• Fluent in designing functions that minimize server load and latency, essential for enterprise scale applications
