Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper
Job Description:
White Oak Consulting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to join our growing company. This is a remote position offering 10-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to balance work with other commitments. You will play a key role in supporting small to medium sized business clients by maintaining accurate financial records and delivering high-quality bookkeeping services.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update records for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements.
Prepare reports and summaries for multiple clients.
Categorize transactions accurately and ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations.
Collaborate with clients to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end processes.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and account analysis techniques.
Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is a must. If you have your certification.. even better!
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Diploma or certification in bookkeeping or a related field is required.
A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) is required.
3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, with experience in an accounting firm considered an asset.
Must be able to work during the day between hours of 8-5
