Role Overview:

As a Brand Designer at Rare Ideas, you’ll be the creative force behind brand identities, packaging & marketing visuals. You’ll collaborate with an amazing team of strategists, copywriters & marketers to bring brands to life through bold, meaningful design.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and design brand identities, including logos, typography, color palettes, packaging, and brand collateral.
• Develop brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Work closely with brand strategists, copywriters, and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Create visual assets for digital, print, and social media, ensuring alignment with the brand’s personality and objectives.
• Design packaging, signage, menus, marketing materials, and advertising creatives as per project requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, branding innovations, and industry best practices to push creative boundaries.
• Present and communicate design concepts effectively to clients and internal teams.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality design outputs within deadlines.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in brand identity design, preferably in a branding agency.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, typography, packaging, and graphic design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD) & other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, visual hierarchy, and storytelling through design.
• Ability to create mood boards, concept presentations, and brand guidelines.
• Attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visuals.
• Knowledge of print production, packaging materials, and digital design trends is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design rationale to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet deadlines.
