Job Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering strategic & transformational consulting services to the clients. Therefore, you must be flexible, adaptable and passionate about innovation. You will be responsible for liaising and managing key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the solutions are delivered successfully
This role demands strong analytical capabilities, in-depth knowledge of the banking industry, stakeholder management experience, and the ability to drive business and technology change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
ü Work with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
ü Design and map current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes aligned to industry best practices.
ü Support the delivery of core banking transformation initiatives including core system replacements, digital enablement, risk and regulatory projects, and operational efficiency programs.
ü Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, technology leads, and testing teams to ensure business needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
ü Support the creation of business cases, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
ü Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to ensure delivery milestones are met.
ü Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and practice development activities.
Required Skills & Experience
ü Experience working in Core Banking / Commercial Banking / Corporate Banking across Retail, Consumer, Institutional.
ü Good domain knowledge in one or more areas: retail banking, payments, digital transformation, lending, trade finance, or regulatory compliance
ü Good knowledge of core banking systems (e.g. Finacle, Temenos, Flexcube or other similar product)
ü Exposure to lending, AML, KYC, deposits, trade finance, payments, cash operations & Digital banking.
ü Should Posses high-level understanding of data model and application/business architecture around the package
ü Good experience understanding client requirements and streamline them appropriately to the team.
ü Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to appropriate package capabilities
ü Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client to maximise benefits from package.
ü Experience in managing Agile or SAFe projects and hands-on experience with tools and methodologies like Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, etc
ü Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across various levels
ü Good Leadership skills
ü Excellent client-facing skills
ü MBA/CA/CFA/MCA/ BE / B.Tech / equivalent with 7-10 years’ experience
Preferred skills:
ü Techno functional knowledge and experience working in Core Banking Platforms like Finacle, Temenos, Flexcube
ü Experience working on e2e process assessment and optimization, operational risk assessments, Technology and digital enablement, continuous improvements
ü Exposure to Banking Processes including and not limited to Transactions, Payments, Lending, AML, KYC ,Trade, Cash management, Channels
ü Technical experience of working on data, understand relational data models, SQL queries.
ü Experience in any or more of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 databases. Good data analytics skills
ü Advance excel and VBA skills
ü Good to have experience or strong learning on Gen AI , LLM , RPA, Reporting tools(Power BI, Tableau or similar products)
ü Good to have Banking Regulatory and Compliance framework knowledge
