This is a permanent full-time position commencing March 2025.
The System Response and Transformation (SRT) Division delivers organisational excellence through comprehensive performance analytics and strategic assurance. We provide executive leadership with vital insights on system performance while ensuring strategic initiatives achieve their intended outcomes. Through rigorous data analysis and performance monitoring, we drive continuous improvement across the Department.
Our Business Intelligence team leads the Department's data strategy, specialising in:
Developing sophisticated executive-level dashboards and performance visualizations
Conducting in-depth analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making
Identifying opportunities for operational enhancement and transformation
Advancing the Department's analytical capabilities to support its strategic objectives

The Role
As a Senior Business and Data Analyst, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data-related products, including dashboards, datasets, and reports that enhance decision-making across the Department. You will be responsible for ensuring data governance, security, and compliance while managing end-to-end data processes, including sourcing, transformation, validation, and modelling. Working closely with the Manager Business Intelligence, you will undertake complex data analysis and provide valuable insights through reports and briefing notes to support strategic initiatives.
This role also involves identifying opportunities to improve and automate data collection processes, enabling greater efficiency and accuracy in reporting. You will collaborate with business areas to document and refine data-collection methods, ensuring they align with evidence-based decision-making practices. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential, as you will establish and maintain effective communication networks with both internal and external partners to support data-driven improvements within the Department.
