Description
In this role the person would be leading initiatives to generate and engage with clients to build new business (solar EPC) for the company. This candidate will strategically plan their approach to clients and offer compelling solutions to cater for client's needs. The person will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals.
The incumbent will be responsible for acquiring new clients. This is a hybrid role of client office visits and SunAlpha offices (for client follow-ups). The candidate would be responsible to drive an on-ground team and also originate new leads themselves to facilitate new clients. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
Job Description:
• Background in sales is mandatory – individual will have to be the kind who enjoys being in front of clients and convincing them to go solar with SunAlpha
• The role would require travel in the candidate's region to meet clients & closing projects.
• In order to be successful the candidate should develop a thorough knowledge of relevant SunAlpha processes – his team will look upto him to solve operational and process related problems to convince clients to go solar
• Will be accountable for new client added/month – will be a strictly sales oriented role wherein the candidate has to keep thinking about how he/she will achieve the monthly sales number and bring the desired clients onboarded to SunAlpha solar projects
• Candidate should be very comfortable with a target driven environment with daily reporting, calls etc. Desired skills and experience:
Qualifications:
• Overall 4-6 years of experience in sales, preferable B2B & corporate sales like Solar projects, Capital Goods etc.
• Experience in Solar EPC sales is mandatory
• Post Graduate is mandatory
• Should be hands-on, comfortable with data and be able to motivate the team to achieve targets
• Ability to manage operations involving external partner teams with good communication skills
• Program management skills, relationship management, interpersonal communication - ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams with an eye for detail
• Ability to multi-task and work independently and as a team
• Basic proficiency in MS applications e.g. Microsoft Word / Excel / Power point
