Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Pune
Role Description:
Experienced Business Analyst is required to strengthen the PRDA (Party Reference Data accelerator) Data Technology India team and provide business analysis for a range of projects, working closely with Project Managers and Run The Bank (Operations) & Application Services (IT) counterparts.
Party Reference data refers to Mastering of Party data that defines Party, Counter party, Client, and Customers Association within Deutsche Bank. Downstream applications currently utilize data from a vast number of sources resulting in inconsistencies across the Bank which brings processing inefficiencies. PRDA aims to facilitate bank-wide adoption of Single view of Party.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Provide business analysis for a range of projects within Party Reference Data, working closely with Product Owner, Delivery Lead, Consumers and IT counterparts
• Party/Client Reference Data Subject Matter Expert (SME), capable of confidently advising on Reference Data related issues which arise during business analysis.
• Support Strategic Build and Consumer Adoption program in building the PRDA by providing analysis, requirements and acceptance criteria to relevant projects
• Assist Product Owner, Project Managers in liaising with Operations & Consumers to clearly define the details of Party Reference Data requirements.
• Close liaison with delivery counterparts to translate Operations & Consumer requirements into meaningful technical requirements which will be used in the build solution
• Assist in the creation and integration of new and existing Reference Data sets by helping to design, develop, test and implement improved operations processes
• Develop and implement specific business rules required to support project integration and ongoing maintenance for the PRDA
• Develop, manage and distribute project documentation including functional requirements and analysis
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) if required
• Ensure adherence to Change Control management process
Assist in “selling” the vision of the PRDA programme to the stake

Your Skills and Experience:
Essential Skills
• Excellent hands-on experience/knowledge on Party data domain (Party, Client, Consumer, Counter party)
• Good understanding of Data modelling
• Excellent understanding of sources of Party data
• Good understanding of Consumer patterns/use cases of Party data
• Good understanding of Party data flow within Large Corporate Bank
• Awareness of data mapping and associated data life cycle/processes.
• Strong understanding of operational processes around Client data, associated challenges and issues.
• Strong SQL skills, ability to create Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship Modeling.
• Excellent Business Analysis delivery track record, with experience of working on multiple projects in multi-disciplined teams, gained within the Financial Markets industry
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain healthy relationships across cross-functional teams
• Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent skills in preparing business analysis documents i.e requirements and specification documentation e.g. Functional Requirements Documents
• Excellent skills in analyzing documentation
• Excellent business analysis skills – both from an analytical and communication perspective
• Sufficient knowledge of IT development and delivery practices and approaches
• Ability to work to set deadlines and yet remain flexible if requirements change.
• Understand the importance of customer focus and meeting customer needs through logical, investigative and innovative approach to problem solving.
• Advanced experience with Excel
• Knowledge of financial markets, reference and Party data
• Experience with managing third party / vendor reference data content
• Experience with Master Data Management or Enterprise Data Management implementations.
Preferred
• Intermediate experience with MS Project and Sharepoint, Confluence,Jira and other collaborative tools
• Skills in project management best practice and excellent project lifecycle management skills
• Detailed understanding of project risk management
• Good understanding of Agile organization
