Mo te turanga | About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Change Analyst to support change and facilitate change management initiatives throughout DOC.

The position will be focussed on:

Deliver technical change analysis of changes across people, process, and technology, and develop change management, communication, and training plans in collaboration with our partners.
Provide guidance in various formats tailored to diverse audiences Support Change Managers with and/or lead change management activities for various projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current processes and identify areas for improvement.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and promote engagement with impacted teams and users.
Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives and readiness.
Provide coaching and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the change process.

You will have a solid background in change management in a large-scale, complex setting and strong analytical abilities. It goes without saying that this is a people centric role; it interacts with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels, so it is important you're able to build and manage relationships.

You will also bring the following skills and experience;

A tertiary qualification and/or equivalent knowledge from experience, e.g. a bachelor's degree in a field such as Business Administration, Management, Organisational Psychology, or Project Management.
Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices, such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar models.
Solid experience in change management or similar role.
Certifications or equivalent knowledge of project management methodology such as Prince2, CCMP or CMI is ideal.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities in complexity and ambiguity.
Deep understanding of human elements involved in the change process, along with empathy for the needs and concerns of professionals and communities.
