An amazing new job opportunity has become available for a dedicated Senior Chef De Partie to work in a stunning retirement village based in the Aston-on-Trent, Derbyshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
A beautiful establishment nestled in the heart of the retirement village, offering a range of facilities and services not usually found in a care home
• To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent**
As The Senior Chef Your Key Duties Include
• Catering to residents across the Village which comprises of a Restaurant, Club House Cafe, Care Home and Spa
• Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations
• Be aware of residents, villagers and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs - responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu
• Be involved in the preparation and serving of the meals on the hotplate, as required
• Ensuring that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high risk) goods
• Ensuring a welcoming, safe and compliant environment for our residents to dine in
• Helping to maintain a clean and hygienic working area
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements
• An understanding of health and safety procedures
• Have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking
• Adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service
Benefits
The successful Senior Chef will receive an excellent salary of £13.30 per hour and the annual salary is £27,664 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
