Join our team as a Senior Civil & Stormwater Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact transport, water, and energy projects across Auckland.
In this dynamic position, you will take on leadership responsibilities within our Roads & Streets Business, leading technical projects, guiding a talented team, and contributing to new business opportunities.
The Opportunity
Lead the design and delivery of stormwater, utilities, and civil geometric designs for transport, water, and energy projects.
Provide technical leadership to the local team and guide multidisciplinary collaboration.
Manage the production of technical drawings, reports, and specifications.
Oversee project budgets, resources, and ensure high-quality outcomes in line with Arup’s Quality Management System.
Represent the team in client meetings and business development activities, contributing to bid strategies and the winning of key infrastructure projects.

Is this role right for you?
10+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects in New Zealand.
A Bachelor of Engineering degree (Washington Accord), with CPEng registration preferred.
Proficiency in 12d software for stormwater and civil geometric design.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop a growing team.
Expertise in project delivery, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
