Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for aSenior Civil Engineer to join our team in our Perth office.
About The Role
Deliver civil engineering design (process plant platforms, access roads, drainage, and associated infrastructure in remote and challenging terrain) according to required time-frames and standards.
Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
Contribute to the cost-efficient delivery of civil engineering through project budget and review, approving civil capital cost estimates
Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).
Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work process on projects.
Demonstrate initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group.
Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
About You
Civil engineering degree
Proven success in a similar Senior Civil Engineer role.
Extensive experience in Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage in a relevant industry (mining, mineral processing, materials handling, or heavy industrial)
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in design of mining facilities, with a proven ability to conceptualise project layouts, and optimise designs is a must.
Hands on experience with 12D, AutoCad, or Civil 3D software is a big plus.
Chartered status is a strong asset, but not essential.
