Client Portfolio Manager
About the Role:
The Client Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients to ensure superior service delivery and cross-selling of banking products. This includes building up CASA (Current Account and Savings Account) deposits, improving product holding per customer, acquiring new clients, and managing walk-in clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective client engagement leading to cross-selling.
• Increase product holding per customer within mapped portfolios.
• Profile clients and present them with suitable banking products.
• Be solution-oriented and ensure effective on-boarding of mobile banking services, bill payments, SIPs, insurance, investments, retail loans, and SME loans.
• Coordinate with relationship managers for closure of business loans, working capital, POS, CMS, trade transactions generated through client engagement.
• Responsible for creating a customer-focussed approach for quick resolution of all queries and complaints to achieve NPS benchmarks.
• Custodian of the branch vault, manage vault limits, cash, and non-cash transactions.
• Ensure nil instances of cash shortage or excess at the teller counter.
• Update key registers regularly and review branch reports like end-of-day cash position reports, LTR, instruments issued, etc.
• Monitor dummy accounts, suspense accounts, deferred accounts, accounts payable, receivable reconciliation, and maintenance of suspense accounts register as per required format.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Perform audits and ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and guidelines.• Provide best-in-class customer service to all clients to become their primary banker.
