Job Description
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Client Service Ii professional to join our team. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to external clients, resolving moderately complex day-to-day issues and directing them to appropriate resources as needed.
Main Responsibilities
• Support clients in addressing moderately complex operational and technical issues, ensuring requests are executed efficiently
• Apply intermediate problem-solving skills, experience, and judgment to analyze information and provide high-quality solutions
• Utilize communication skills to deliver excellent service to a specialized client base, providing information related to BNY Mellon products and services, and directing clients to the appropriate resources as needed
• Leverage a good understanding of broader BNY Mellon services and offerings to monitor client inquiries, resolve non-routine issues, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of total work experience, preferably in an operational area and/or client services
Working Conditions
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be required to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requests and delivery of high-quality service.
