SENIOR CLOUD AND SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR

Our client, a healthcare technology company, is looking for an experienced and inquisitive Senior Cloud and Security Administrator to join their growing team. This fully remote U.S. based role will have both the autonomy in their position, and leadership support to build out processes and best practices to shape the company’s future.

How You’ll Contribute
Support and connect various electronic medical record systems, ancillary systems, and external quality data benchmark organizations.
Collaborate with developers to optimize and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure for development and production environments.
Manage, configure and ensure scalability and performance of hardware resources. Develop automation scripts and tools for efficiency and streamlined processes.
Monitor and maintain database software, implement backups and data security.
Ensure all changes are documented, assessed for risk, and tested before deployment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud computing and data security.
Set up and configure laptops for new employees, provide ongoing support and maintenance of hardware.
Experience and Skills:
About YOU!
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
6+ years of experience with Cloud Administration and Security Operations Management.
CISSP and CISM certifications required; willingness to maintain SOC 2 Type 2 certification.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub Security, Terraform, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work both cross-functionally and autonomously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and drive innovation in healthcare platform solutions.
Deep understanding and application of security best practices.
Experience working in healthcare or knowledge of healthcare data standards preferred.

The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the company and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $125,000 - $150,000 not including other competitive benefits.
