Our company is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will be designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be working on the performance, security, and scalability of our AWS-based systems, while also providing guidance and mentoring to members of the team. You will work closely with developers, IT operations, and stakeholders to implement an integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for our cloud-based applications.
What you will be doing:
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure solutions to support our applications
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our cloud-based applications
• Work closely with developers to ensure their applications are optimized for the cloud
• Automate infrastructure deployment, management, and monitoring tasks
• Implement security standard methodologies and ensure our cloud-based systems are secure
• Collaborate with other teams to tackle and resolve technical issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption
What we are looking for:
Technical Skills
• 7 to 12 years of extensive experience building cloud infra-environments.
• Proven track record in AWS-based infrastructure design and implementation
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
• Strong scripting and automation skills with experience in Python, Bash, or languages
• Solid understanding of security standard methodologies and experience implementing security controls in AWS environments
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• AWS certification is a plus

Minimum education
