We're currently searching for a highly skilled Senior Progress Developer to become a part of our dynamic project team in a fast-paced work setting.

The ideal candidate will possess thorough experience with Progress OpenEdge v11.7 and a robust understanding of both character and GUI-based application development using Progress OpenEdge ABL.

• Availability to work within the EU time zone is required.
• Role involves roughly 40% enhancements and change requests, with 60% devoted to corrections and bug fixes.

Responsibilities
• Maintain and develop database applications leveraging Progress OpenEdge RDBMS 11.7

• Implement Windows client applications through Microsoft AVD ThinApp and Intune
• Engage with server-side platforms, notably Red Hat Linux versions ranging from 7.5 to 7.8
• Execute system integrations employing Service Oriented Architecture with tools such as Sonic ESB and Dell Boomi

Requirements
• 5+ years' experience with Progress OpenEdge 11.7 and Progress OpenEdge ABL
• Strong grasp of both character UI and GUI development processes
• Profound knowledge of OS-level platforms like Microsoft AVD ThinApp and Red Hat Linux
• Demonstrated skill in automated deployment through Intune and deep knowledge of security protocols
• Experience with integration via Service Oriented Architecture, Sonic ESB, and Dell Boomi
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Mandatory Skills
• 5+ years experience on public cloud such as AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP
