Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud network infrastructure across various cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud network environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for network deployment, configuration, and management.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network configurations for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating to vendors or internal teams when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud networking technologies and trends.
- Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical network issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5+ years of experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with container networking (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with network security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
