Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced first-level general nurse with a Specialist District Nursing Qualification to join our Helensburgh and Lomond Community Nursing Team.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for:
Caseload management
Supervision and assessment of care needs
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, personalised nursing care to patients
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Evidence of continuing professional development
A current driving licence and use of your own car are essential.
About Working for NHS Scotland
NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week, effective April 2026. This reduction applies pro rata to part-time staff. However, some service areas may require temporary additional hours until their rosters or working patterns adjust to accommodate the new reduced working week.
