Analysing Politically Exposed Person ('PEP'), sanctions and adverse media in relation to clients, including money laundering, terrorism financing, bribery, corruption, fraud, tax evasion and reputational risk
Liaising with stakeholders to obtain and interpret corporate documents and other client-provided information in line with the Firm's AML/CTF obligations, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality
Growing and developing team members by monitoring the work of junior Compliance Analysts and providing constructive feedback, coaching and quality assurance
Leading and participating in discussions with partners and other internal stakeholders on AML/CTF matters, including joining calls alongside junior team members to provide senior-level guidance and support
Supporting the Legal Counsels / Senior Advisers with complex reviews, escalations and operational decision-making
Conducting a variety of internal audits regarding the Firm's AML/CTF compliance and assisting with preparing compliance reports for the regulator (AUSTRAC)
