Join our Governance, Risk, Assurance & Analytics team – within the Consulting Division as a Senior Consultant. This role has the option to be based out of our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office. In this role, you will apply targeted data analytics to support high‑profile internal audit, risk, and assurance engagements. Working within a national network of Risk professionals and partnering with some of Australia’s most prominent organisations, you’ll be part of a collaborative, positive, and purpose‑driven team.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in using data analytics to advise business areas in risk advisory, internal audit and control effectiveness, or assurance. If you’re looking to blend your risk expertise with practical analytics to enhance audit and assurance delivery, this role is a great fit.

The Opportunity

Work closely with internal audit, risk management, and assurance teams to design and deliver risk‑aligned analytics that enhance audit procedures and control assessments.
Translate audit and risk objectives into data-driven testing approaches, including targeted data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualisation.
Deliver insights that support control effectiveness, risk identification, and process improvement across a range of business functions.
Partner with clients across diverse industries to help solve complex business challenges through practical, fit‑for‑purpose analytics.
Contribute to the continuous development of risk analytics methodologies, reusable assets, and digital assurance solutions within the GRC function.

Your Experience

A passion for delivering innovative, risk‑focused client solutions supported by strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Prior experience in internal audit, risk advisory, assurance, or controls-based roles with exposure to analytics in a risk or audit context.
A commercial and analytical mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills, and solid project delivery capability.
Proven experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong applied skills in SQL and/or Alteryx - highly advantageous for this role.
Ability to work confidently with risk stakeholders and translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights.
