Senior Consultant I, Power System Studies
Locations available:
Auckland | Wellington | Christchurch |

This is a senior role, so we’d love you to show us your:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (as a minimum), with a specialisation in power systems.
Advanced knowledge of network simulation software, (PSSE, PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – in particular, clear and unambiguous email and technical document writing.
Legally authorised to work in New Zealand.
What You’ll Accomplish:
Perform power system analysis, transmission and generator connection studies that meet client technical specifications in reliability, regulation and quality requirements and standards.
Prepare detailed technical reports for all studies performed.
Continue honing your technical and leadership abilities.

At PSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role - we want you to come in and grow, not feel like you're at the top of your grade with no scope to have a career. As compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, and this role is dependent on the individual's attributes, a reasonable estimate of the current range (dependent on candidate experience) is:
$130,000 NZD to $180,000 NZD
