The team
Deloitte s Cloud Engineering services are your entry point on the Cloud journey, setting the goals, pace, and direction to fit your business objectives. Services include readiness, strategy, business case development, architecture and planning, governance and policy, and operating model transformation.
Your work profile
As a Senior Consultant in our Cloud Engineering Team you ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
Understand existing processes and facilitate change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
Experience of architecture, design, and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable Cloud solutions
Strong knowledge in Cloud-best practices and hands-on experience in design, implementation, and/or support
Experience in a broad set of technologies related to IT infrastructure and cloud to drive the adoption of Cloud in enabling the transition from traditional platforms to cloud-ready architectures.
Solve day-to-day issues arising while running robotics processes and provide timely resolutions.
Desired qualifications
Bachelor s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
5+ years of relevant development experience.
Experience with design and development of REST API platform using Apigee/APIM, converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa.
Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OAuth2, OIDC)
Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. using Apigee or similar API Platforms
Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable
Experience in any JavaScript based programming languages such as NodeJS, TypeScript etc.
Experience in setting up CI/CD Deployment pipelines
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform
Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
Be involved in the development life cycle and perform definition and feasibility analysis
Apply the latest software design techniques and contribute to the technical design of new solutions
Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed
Write object-oriented and maintainable code
Deliver quality results on time with minimal supervision
Self-Driven & Passionate about learning new tools, languages, philosophies, and workflows
Analyzes, designs, develops, codes and implements programs in one or more programming languages, for Web and Rich Internet Applications.
Understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
Assesses the health and performance of software applications and databases.
Define specifications and develop programs, modifies existing programs, prepares test data, and prepares functional specifications.
Reviews project proposals, evaluates alternatives, provides estimates and makes recommendations.

Base location: Bangalore
This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
