We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of senior consultant specialist.
In this role, you will:
The person should be able to handle and lead POD of developer.
Support, design, and develop solutions for DBS Data Delivery
Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
Knowledge on Python (Ex: Lists, Tuples and Dictionaries) and Object-oriented programing
Good exposure on Python Libraries and packages
Hands on experience on Linux environment.
Scripting experience in both Windows and Linux environments with languages like Python, Powershell, and Bash.
Knowledge or experience with configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc);
Should possess high technical skill in Gitlab/GitHub pipeline setup and should have knowledge in sonarqube integration.
Good understanding of DevOps processes and use of automation to optimize development and release timelines
Good exposure on Jupiter hub, Anaconda and PyCharm
Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django and Flask
Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Expert in using GUNICORN and WSGI server for code deployment over Windows and Linux servers
Basic knowledge on R- Programming and Installation.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Implementation of security and data protection
Integration of data storage solutions like databases, key-value stores etc..
Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or International Equivalent
12+ Years of relevant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills preferred.
Focus on detail and consistency.
Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential.
Strong prioritization and time management skills
Strong research, analysis and report writing skills are essential
Strong knowledge of Python 2.x and 3.
Understanding in cloud technologies
Power shell Scripting
Python Framework.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
Skilled in multi-tasking and self-managing a diverse workload.
