Job Title – Senior Consultant Specialist / Data Modeller GCB 5.2 or Lead Consultant Specialist GCB 4.1

To help carry us even further, we are on the lookout for an experienced Technology Project Manager resource to join our global team based in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. Additionally, this person should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth.
In this role, you will: (Principal Responsibilities)
· The position will focus on Implementing business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning).
· Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.
· Be an individual contributor, and also have the ability to lead a 1-3 member team.
· The individual should be a capable hands-on contributor in analysing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Data models.
· Collect & Interpret data and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions.
· Work alongside teams within the Business and Operations teams to establish business needs and define both short term as well as long term features and strategies.
· Work alongside various technology teams – both internal and external – involving Business Analysts, Architects, Cloud & API Developers, DevOps Engineers, Test Automation Engineers etc – to proactively plan, manage and honour delivery commitments, whilst bringing efficiencies across the Agile/SDLC workflow.
· Identify, Communicate and resolve interdependencies between different applications.
· Use a combined knowledge of the payments domain, Payments applications and platforms, data modelling, statistics, and analytics to solve business and operational problems.
· Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which we obtain and analyse large data sets, improve quality and the efficiency of our data systems.
· Lead the resolution of defects, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Showcase an ability to multi-task, track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner teams.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: (Must have Requirements)
· Expertise in Conceptual/ Logical/Physical Data Modeling.
· Payments and Banking experience is a must.
· Database Design
· Database Type: Relational, NoSQL, DocumentDB
· Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Big Table, MongoDB, Neo4j
· Tools: Erwin, Visual Paradigm
· Solid experience in PL/SQL, Python, Unix Shell scripting, Java.
· Domain experience across the payments and banking lifecycle.
· An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving, with an attention to detail.
· Sound knowledge of payments workflows and statuses across various systems within a large global bank.
· Experience in collecting large data sets, identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
· Overall experience of 10+ years, with considerable experience in Big Data and Relational Database.
· Prior experience across requirements gathering, build and implementation, stakeholder co-ordination, release management and production support.
· Ability to effectively navigate and deliver transformation programmes in large global financial organisations, amidst the challenges posed by bureaucracy, globally distributed teams and local data regulations.
· Strong communication skills coupled with presentation skills of complex information and data.
· A first-class degree in Engineering or relevant field - with 2 or more of the following subjects as a major – Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements)
· Understanding of DevOps and CI tools (Jenkins, Git, Grunt, Bamboo, Artifactory) would be an added advantage.
· Experience in Agile methodology and leading agile delivery, aligned with organisational needs.
· Effective leader as well as team player with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
