We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will need to have:
• Provide 24x7x365 Service Management / Production Support for Distributed & Cloud applications.
• Work in day shift, night shift and regular timings as per the support roster on rotation basis. Support and shift duty will be there on weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible for batch monitoring, alert acknowledgement, incident resolution, change order creation and execution, service recovery, root cause analysis, project implementation support, OS and Middleware patching activities, Disaster Recovery Exercise.
• Coordinate with Engg PODs, development and infrastructure teams during incident resolution. Recover the service within the SLAs.
• Create, review and improve Production Support documentation and procedures, troubleshooting guides, weekly reports summarizing Production performance.
• The candidate is expected to quickly learn and support multiple products and applications across Distributed platforms.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Should have 8+ years of Production Support experience in Distributed technologies such as LINUX, Oracle DB, SQL, Windows, MQ, WAS, Java, Control-M, Postman.
• Should have experience in supporting operational large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of GCP data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties - Compute Engine, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow, Big Table, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud PubSub, Cloud storage, Cloud Functions.
• Should have experience with Open-source technologies and tools such as GitHub, Pyspark, Jenkins, Ansible.
• Should have experience in Service Management activities such as Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
• Should be familiar with AppDynamics, Splunk, DevOPS procedures, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Service Dashboard reporting.
• Should have very good communication skills and be able to communicate with business and IT stakeholders effectively and efficiently.
• Should be able to work independently in a cross-location and cross-cultural team.
• Candidates with GCP or AWS certification and working experience will be preferred.
